Support the Education of a girl for the 2025 - 2026 school year

This past weekend, was an exciting one for the Mariam Society. We hosted our first ever fundraiser, a girl you know! It was an afternoon of inspiration, building community, and mentoring the next generation of female leaders. More about it below.

But first...

Our fundraiser kicked-off our annual giving campaign - a girl you know : a girl you support to fund scholarships for our class of 2025/2026.

In 2019, our first year as a small not-for-profit, we sent 59 girls to school. In 2024, 200 girls got Mariam scholarships. Heading into the 2025/2026 school year, we have our loftiest goal ever.

We want to send 300 girls to school in the Fall of 2025

To our current Monthly Donors - THANK YOU! Your past support has made a tangible difference—keeping young women in school, empowering them with knowledge, and opening doors to a brighter future

To past supporters - as we kick-off the year, we invite you to renew your commitment and continue changing lives through education. For $336 or just $28 a month (lower than any like Canadian charity), you can ensure that a girl at risk of dropping out stays in school, gaining the confidence and skills she needs to thrive. Your generosity provides not just tuition but support outside the classroom through workshops that educate her on her rights, menstrual health, and building support networks for long term success. If you’re able to continue this journey with us, please renew your sponsorship today.

Together, we can build a future where every girl has the opportunity to succeed.

For $336 (less than $1 a day) you can educate a girl for one year!

On Sunday, March 30th, we hosted our first-ever fundraiser - a girl you know

This annual signature event is designed to inspire the next generation of women in whatever paths they choose—reflecting our mission in rural India, where we fund education scholarships for girls who would otherwise have to drop out, abandoning their dreams of a better future.

Held at the stunning Arlington Estate, a girl you know brought together over 150 women and teen girls for an afternoon of inspiration, fun, and exploration. Attendees had the opportunity to engage with world-class female leaders and creators, all while giving back.

From one of our guests:

"My daughter has a tough time in social situations and anxiety…she loved it! I have an impossible time getting her to take a picture with me, let alone smile. Now we have a great photo hanging in my office. We talked about the day the whole ride home. Anu Raina’s story during our circle was amazing. We stalked her Instagram when we got home. What an incredible group of ladies to spend a Sunday afternoon with. And the event...the atmosphere, the activations, the swag, food…it was so well done! Seeing my daughter comfortably stepping outside her comfort levels means so much. My daughter is also a creative, giving her a chance to see other women using and celebrating that strength came at a great time in her life as she finishes high school this June."
